A Smarter, Stronger & Kinder Street


Sesame Workshop is the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, providing educational learning resources through television, articles and other media. 


                    

Challenge
Sesame Street’s new tagline "Helping kids grow stronger, smarter and kinder,” needed a new 3 second animation that would start each of Sesame’s youtube videos. 
Approach
Collaborating with The VP of Creative and VP of Marketing at Sesame Workshop, we explored simple and fun animations that could be engaging enough while not overpowering their new taglines. All of the explorations were keyframed by hand, allowing for the most flexibility within a 3-4 second time constraint.
Outcome
The open and end title animation for the new tagline was launched succesfully across Sesame and Sesame Workshop’s new video content (online and offline). After the US launch, there were follow-up engagements that produced animated translations for: Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Israel, Nigeria, South Africa, Latin America, China, Brazil, Egypt and United Arab Emirates.

                    

Challenge
Sesame Workshop’s VP of Creative reached out to create an animation used as a holiday greeting to business partners, sponsors, government, international, manufactures & vendors.
Approach
Combining green screen footage of the Cookie Monster and illustrated numbers, a cookie countdown to the New Year was made. This proved to be an engaging and humorous take on Cookie Monster’s voracious appetite for cookies.
Outcome
The project was launched successfully and shared B2B, eventually leading to another engagement (see above).
